Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MET mobile app (the "App"), provided by S Koushan ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using MET, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. The service

MET helps you keep track of friends you've met around the world: where they live, how you met, and how to reach them. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Accounts and access

MET does not require a MET account. Google Drive sync on Android requires you to sign in with your own Google account, and iCloud sync on iOS uses the iCloud account on your device. You're responsible for keeping those accounts secure.

3. MET Premium

• MET Premium unlocks sync and backup & restore, and removes the upgrade prompts. It is offered as an auto-renewing weekly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is processed by Apple or Google, depending on your platform, and charged to the payment method on your App Store or Google Play account.
• The weekly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We cannot cancel it for you.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks Premium for as long as the App is available, and can be restored on your other devices with the same App Store or Google Play account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us directly.

4. Your data

The friends and details you add to MET are yours. As described in our Privacy Policy, they are stored on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your own iCloud or Google Drive. We don't host or control this data, so we can't recover it if it's lost, for example if you uninstall the App or lose your device without sync or a backup.

You're responsible for the information you save about other people, and for having their permission where the law requires it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, for example by attempting to reverse-engineer it, interfering with its normal operation, or using it in a way that violates applicable law or other people's rights.

6. Third-party services

MET relies on third-party services, including OpenStreetMap (maps and place search), Apple iCloud and Google Drive (sync), RevenueCat (purchase management), and the App Store and Google Play (distribution and billing). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

MET is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the App, sync or backups will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data.

9. Termination

You may stop using MET at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
